DESCRIPTION

The IS Analyst position will be responsible for managing the hardware and software programs specific to the Food and Nutrition department. Knowledge of data management systems, website administration, network connectivity monitoring, integration between systems, and other support tasks as needed will all be required. Knowledge of POS, nutrition software programs and system building and maintenance will be the primary focus of this position.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Six years of related experience, education/training, OR a Bachelor's degree in related area plus two years of related experience/training.
  • Proven experience with the following applications: MS Office - Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, MS Sharepoint Services.
  • Experience with computer hardware, integration and maintenance.
  • Experience with workstation operating systems (Windows 2000 and XP) and server operating systems (Windows 2000 and 2003 server).
  • Knowledge of relevant operating system commands, database conventions (storage profiles, data-types, etc) and tools, communication protocols, and system utilities.
  • Knowledge of food service software programs and POS operating systems.
  • Demonstrated experience with Database manipulation, query, and reporting skills in SQL.
  • Ability to design, implement and document business applications programs and websites.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience in a healthcare environment.
  • Experience in food service software and POS utilization in a healthcare setting with menu and recipe development, nutritional analysis and knowledge of therapeutic diets.
SPECIAL CONDITIONS

  • Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.

Pay Transparency Act

Annual Full Pay Range: $67,200 - $119,600 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)

Hourly Equivalent: $32.18 - $57.28

Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
