Position Summary Information

 

Purpose

The Counseling Department in the School of Education & Counseling Psychology at Santa Clara University invites applicants for part-time lecturer positions for 2015-2016. The department has two programs, a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology and a Master of Arts in Counseling. Selected candidates will have expertise or teaching experience in one or more of the following areas.

Salary $6000 per 3-unit course
Basic Qualifications

Graduate degree in Counseling or Clinical Psychology.

Preferred Qualifications

Doctoral Level and licensed candidates preferred.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities
Teaching duties include but are not limited to:
1. Teaching the assigned course during the Fall, Winter, Spring, and/or Summer term from the approved syllabus 
2. Conducting all assigned class meetings and grading all assignments
3. Holding weekly office hours on campus
4. Assigning and submitting student grades to Student Records by the designated deadline
5. Fulfilling other academic duties as may be assigned by the Chair of the Counseling Psychology Department

Eligible for additional teaching assignments based on successful performance.
