A postdoctoral fellow position is available in the lab of Dr. Vikas Dudeja at the Department of Surgery, University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB). We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic candidate for this position in the field of cancer biology, inflammation and immunology.

Dr. Dudeja is a highly accomplished surgeon-scientist and Director of the Division of Surgical Oncology at the UAB Hospital and his lab conducts cutting-edge and translational research on pancreatic cancer and pancreatitis. He also has multiple ongoing clinical trials.

The prospective candidate must be well acquainted and experienced in basic research techniques including cell culture, flow cytometry, western blot, microscopy, PCR and mice handling among others. A background in immunology is highly desirable.
