This is a Casual status- Per Diem 12 hour Night shift position. The minimum requirement is two (2) shifts per month

In collaboration with other caregivers, the Respiratory Therapist assesses, plans, implements and evaluates actions for respiratory care. Performs all technical diagnostic and therapeutic procedures related to respiratory care. Performs other core responsibilities necessary to maintain the flow of patient care and comfort in the unit. Responds to critical situations. Utilizes computer systems in performing position duties. Adheres to Hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Participates in Quality Control, preventative maintenance and performance improvement activities.
.Required:
- Current California RCP license
- Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Enjoys working with the public
- Must be able to speak, read, and follow instructions in English
- Technically competent in the department skills inventory
- Computer literate
Preferred:
- Graduate of one or two year AMA School of Respiratory Care
- Prefer one or more years acute critical care experience
- NICU experience
