Are you a passionate IT leader who wants to partner with HR to deliver the next generation of HRIS?  Do you have experience with Workday?

 

If so, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated senior technology leader to lead our team.  In this role, you will lead our technology team managing the day-to-day operations of our Workday and other HRIS solutions.  You will partner with functional leaders to create and drive the roadmap and oversee application implementation, configuration, and maintenance. You will also be responsible for ensuring the overall integrity of the solutions, ensuring that all components of the technical architecture are properly integrated, implemented, delivered, and maintained, while providing exceptional service to our internal stakeholders and users.

 

As a Service Manager for Workday and onboarding you are responsible for:

Customer Partnership:

      • Partnering with HR and Payroll leadership, understanding business needs, and implementing technology solutions aligned with strategic HR initiatives.
      • Work with internal customers to understand requirements, implement, test, deploy and support technology solutions, while keeping scalability and supportability in mind.
      • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve system efficiency, and enhance user experience through continuous evaluation and optimization.

Service Delivery:

      • Follow IT Service management best practices and work with IT management to establish and deliver on roadmap, project status, budget, and schedule.
      • Lead the service delivery team to provide timely and effective support to customers and end-users. Provide assignments, prioritization, technical guidance and mentorship to the IT HCM team.
      • Collaborate with the broader architecture community and downstream systems to ensure that solutions align and integrate seamlessly.
      • Work with the technical SMEs to ensure full end to end data flow

Vendor Management:

      • Collaborate with vendors and consultants to implement system enhancements, upgrades, and integrations. Manage service agreements, licenses, and budget. Strategize on growth and partnership opportunities related to the system.

 

Compliance and Security:

      • Ensure system compliance with regulatory requirements, data privacy standards, and security protocols, implementing necessary controls and measures.

Qualifications

You meet our minimum qualifications for the job if you...

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or equivalent years of experience
  • 10+ years’ experience in Human Capital Management systems, including implementation and operational support in a large, multi-faceted organization
  • 3+ years’ experience as a leader or manager with Workday implementation and support, including hands-on experience or strong technical knowledge of Workday's HCM modules, security, configuration, integrations, business processes, and reporting. As well as technologies such as Studio, EIB, Prism, Extend, Core Connectors, or BIRT
  • Experience and appreciation for IT Service Management (ITSM) methodologies and best practices such as ITIL
  • Strong customer relationship and communication skills, with the ability to partner with HR and payroll, and communicate with executives
  • Demonstrated experience in vendor management, contract negotiations, and service level agreements
  • Ability to analyze and resolve complex problems using current job knowledge, research data, and collaboration with internal/external resources.

  • Project/Portfolio management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results.
  • Workday certifications (e.g., Workday HCM, Integrations, etc.)
  • Experience supporting any of these products: iCIMS, SABA, Visier, Laserfiche, or PeopleSoft
