The School of Accounting, Finance, Information Systems and Business Law invites applications for a distinguished professor position. This is a nine-month position with an anticipated begin work date of August 2020. Western Carolina University is seeking applicants for the Kneedler Distinguished Professor of Computer Information Systems, endowed with a generous gift, at the rank of full professor. The Kneedler Distinguished Professor will support College of Business programs in computer information systems have impact regionally, nationally, and internationally. The successful applicant will be able to sustain a record of scholarship commensurate with appointment as a Distinguished Professor, successfully teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels, demonstrate innovative ways to help WCU fulfill its mission to improve lives and enhance economic and community development in the western North Carolina region and beyond, and demonstrate a record of successful grant applications, administration, and review, particularly for health-related IT work and international IT work.

Minimum Qualifications:

Position requires a PhD or DBA and substantial relevant teaching experience in computer information systems. All degrees must be from traditional AACSB accredited schools.
