Asst/Assoc Prof - Management. The School of Business at Emporia State University invites applications for up to two tenure-track positions in Management at the assistant or associate professor rank beginning the Fall Semester of 2019.
One position will require relevant teaching/industry experience in operations management, supply chain management, or quantitative analysis. The second position will require relevant teaching/industry experience in one of the following areas of expertise, with preference given to candidates qualified to teach in two or more areas: organizational behavior, human resource management, supervisory management, and principles of management. A secondary interest in policy/strategic management, entrepreneurship, or international business will be considered a plus. Academic rank is commensurate with experience and qualifications. Both positions are housed in the AACSB-accredited School of Business.
Qualified candidates will have earned a Ph.D. from a professionally-accredited program in a business program or closely related field, although ABDs will be considered. Candidates must also meet the requirements for Scholarly Academic designation as per AACSB faculty qualifications. Relevant teaching (including online instruction) or industry experience is a plus. The successful candidate will exhibit potential for excellent teaching and scholarly research in support of the School, and will be expected to contribute in service to the School, the University, and the broader community.
